We asked and she delivered

Steered by his breeder Agnese Della Rocca, ‘Hondo’ under breed judge Claudio Rossi (Brazil) was 1st Excellent in Champion class, CAC, CACIB, Best Male and Best of Breed along with the title Alpensieger Winner 2025.

With those results he has now completed the requirements for both the Swiss and International titles subject to the relevant KC confirmations.

Crufts 2025

Although not in the cards, but super proud that Sally & Hondo got pulled out in the Final Cut, it was a day of other Firsts for Sally and Hondo.

In all the years we’ve gone to Crufts this was the first time for Sally actually showing at Crufts and his first time on the green carpet for her partner in crime ‘Hondo’ Lux Ch Way Up Radio Waves (Imp IT) Lux Jnr Ch.

Then towards the end of the day we were asked to assist Ch 4 with a handling segment which will air over the Crufts weekend. Hondo absolutely loved his time in front of the camera with Laura Crombie.

Kent Super Dog 2025

On Saturday 22nd February 2025, we attended our first Kent Super Dog at the Mecure Great Danes Hotel, in Maidstone. And what a day it turned out to be….

In the Special Open class with an entry of 29 the young ‘Italian Stallion’ Hondo handled by Sally made it all the way through to the final, and was awarded “Kent Super Dog 25 Runner Up”

Thanks to the committee of Dover & Deal Canine Society for there hard work in organising this event.

Under the guidance of Sally this weekend, Hondo gained a respectable 5th place in Open Dog. We are now looking forward to Crufts and the rest of the year to see what our young gun can do.

Swiss Dog Show August 2024 - Luzern

Wow…… Day 1 in Switzerland at Luzern 2024 was HOT HOT HOT.

With judging of show 1 starting at 8am it was an early exit from the hotel this morning and a 5 minute drive to the show ground.

Under breed judge Jean Claude Klein, Hondo ‘ Lux Ch Way Up Radio Waves (Imp IT) Lux Jr Ch was 1st Exc Open dog, CAC and Best of Breed.

Amiens Exposition Canine Nationale 27th April 2024

Another weekend, another country and yes, another show.

This weekend we ventured to the Amiens Exposition Canine Nationale Show.

Under breed judge Roger Barenne, Hondo ‘ Lux Ch Way Up Radio Waves (Imp IT) Lux Jr Ch was 1st Exc Open dog and also Best of Breed.

Hound Association of Scotland 13th April 2024

What a couple of weeks our boy has had!!

Following on from last weeks Luxembourg results, this week under breed specialist Wilfriede Schwerm-Hahne at The Hound Association of Scotland Championship Show, Hondo appeared in his first UK open class and was awarded 2nd place. He was recalled to the ring to challenge for the RCC which he was also awarded. Hondo was handled by Agnese Della Rocca. We are feeling very proud and look forward to celebrating such a fabulous day.

Istra Slovenian Summer Dog Shows
4th - 7th August 2022

What can we say…. We are coming back from Istra with a New Slovenian Champion, where Seren also gained a Best Of Breed, and a Group Win. We could not have asked for more from the team. So great to share this experience with friends, namely Erika & Paul Heilmann and Iren Naarits.

Day 1 saw Tommy take the honours amongst the team, with him winning 1st Exc Champion Dog Class, CAC, CACIB, & BOS under breed judge Benjamin Sanchez Garcia (ES)

This result after what seemed like an eternity means that he is now a

Day 2 we decided to withdraw Tommy as he had already gained what was needed the previous day, and concentrate our efforts on Seren.

Douai International Dog Show November 13/14 2021

We have come home with a new International Champion subject to FCI Confirmation.

Seren was shown both days at Douai IDS, where on day 1 under judge Mme GONZALBO LORENZO Maite she was 1st Excellent Ch Female class, Best Female and finished with Best of Breed. On day 2 under judge Mme GORGON DENIS Dominique, Seren was again 1st Excellent Ch Female class, and RCACIB. This RCACIB can be upgraded to a full giving her the final CACIB for her International title.

Split 4 Summer Nights Dog Show 2021

We have come home with 2 new Croatian Champions.

Tommy had a good show gaining 4 CAC’s, adding the Croation title to his list along side his International, Danish and Netherlands titles.

And then there is our Seren who gained her first title and finished the show with 4 x CAC’s, 2 x CACIB’s, 3 x Best Of Opposite Sex along with the title Split Winner 2021.

Seren now only requires 1 more CACIB when her waiting time finishes for her International title.
